Midol for sure because it helps with everything. If you do not have that, try Motrin.

motrin or tylonol.

Midol pills sometimes help a little, extra strength tylonol sometimes, and a ThermaCare heat wrap thing. the cramps never truly go away but those few things make them at least partially bearable. : )

l take motrin, l find it works better than Tylenol for my cramps.

The only medicine that works for me is Pamprin and my cramps are excruciating. So you could try that if they're really bad.

the only thing that ever worked for me was aleve. when l was younger l would get deblitating cramps and midol did nothing. by the time l took enough midol for them to have some affect the caffeine in them for fatigue would have me feeling so sick = lucky as l got older though l do not have problems with cramps anything like l used to.

Aleve is best for cramps. If you take Midol before your period, it can help with the water retention that can complicate PMS.

If u r experiencing symptoms of menstrual cramps, it is important to see ur doctor to be properly diagnosed.

Although certain natural remedies show some promise, there has not been enough research at this point to conclude they're effective. Here r some of the more popular natural remedies for menstrual cramps.

Magnesium, acupressure, omega-3 fatty acids, low-fat diet, vitamin E, vitamin B1, heat (such as a heat pack, warm bath/shower), aromatherapy, massage, calcium, chiropractic exercise or u could go to the chemist & ask them for something for the pain if none of the above-mentioned helps.

l would recommend that if painful cramps during ur period is so bad that it interferes with ur daily activities or causes u to miss work/school because of it, that u definitely see ur doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation as painful periods can sometimes be caused by conditions such as endometriosis which can sometimes cause severe pain from an early age (although the pain typically gets worse as the disease does more damage with each monthly cycle). Other causes can include fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease & sometimes a narrowing of the cervix (using all these conditions as examples only).
