l missed my period last month and now its very very light (which is unusual for me) and very dark in color.im 19 yrs old and have had my period since l was about 12.l took three pregnancy tests (when l missed my period last month) and they all came back negative. any idea to what is causing this??
i am in college and under a great deal of stress with classes and everything but l have never missed a period due to stress before. l have missed a couple due to the fact that l am a bit on the skinny side but l have not recently lost any weight

It could be stress. You skipped a period due to stress or over exercise. It might be lighter because of stress too or a change in diet. Or maybe your cycle is just changing. l used to have a normal flow for 5 days now it is mostly light, lasting 2-3 days.

Yes it could totally be related to stress regardless of if it has happened before or not. It could also be a number of other things. If you are sexually active though, l would suggest following up with an OBGYN or your family doctor to confirm you are not pregnant. If your HCG levels were not high enough, an over the counter pregnancy test can sometimes give a false negative. If you are not pregnant then they can further evaluate what is going on.

it could have to do with the stress + being skinny, id call your doctor if l were u cuz it could have something to do with something else
