l went to the doctors yesterday and he confirmed what l already knew that l had a nasty bladder infection or uti. He gave me some antibodies and told me to drink cranberry juice. l was also on my period when l took the urine test so when he told me about alittle blood l was not all that worried. When l pee it burned but only alittle he ask if l wanted something for that l said no cause it did not all that hurt. Well now it hurts like the dickens and l have to pee like every hour it seems. Is that normal does it mean that it is getting the infection out. Is there anyway to possible get rid of the burning or will l just have to wait for it to clear up. l have only been on the antibodies one full day. If anyone could please help that would be awesome.

Ive had one, but you need to drink plenty of water wipe front to back, but you will be on antibiotics for about a week. Then it will go away.

Just drink plenty of water to help flush the bacteria out. Eliminate/reduce sugar and caffeine intake until the infection has cleared. Add some probiotics to help replenish the good bacteria, just make sure to take them at least 2 hours apart from the antibiotic so as not to kill off the good bacteria in the probiotic. Avoid any perfumed/scented soaps, pads, tampons, and wear cotton panties or panties with a cotton crotch

call your doctor and see if he will call in a prescription for Pyridium. It is a medication that relieves the pain and burning of a UTI. It is probably what he was going to give you in the first place. be sure to take all of the antibiotics, even if you start to feel better!! you should also eat yogurt daily so you do not get a yeast infection (which can sometimes be caused by the antibiotics killing off your good bacteria)hope this helps!

i've had a UT l before, but never actually went to the doctors for it. l took cranberry tablets for it, and drank LOTS OF WATER. this is really important. l had to pee like every 15 minutes, but it helps along with the cranberry products to flush everything out. The antiobiotics i'm guessing will help soon too. The burning will go away in a couple days or less. Just try to stick it out!

Hi. You can get rid of the pain and burning. Go to the drugstore and buy an over the counter medication called uristat. It willl help with your symptoms.

Go to the drug store and get a pill called AZO. It is for the burning so you do not have to suffer while the antibiotics clear it up. It will make your pee bright orange though so do not be alarmed.
