my period has been horrible lately, coming like every other month sometimes and at random times... i'm only 15 so l figured this is normal.but the past few times l get really sick the week before and especially while i'm on it, when i'm trying to fall asleep is the worst time.l hav not actually thrown up, but l get really bad waves of nausea like i'm about to, and i've had to run to the bathroom before because l felt like l was going to be sick.

anyone else go through this? what helps it?

l think you should go see a dr. l get cramps when l have my period but no nausea. The only time l get sick is if l take that midol with the caffeine in it. Pills with caffeine do not sit well with my stomach. Are you taking any meds that might not be sitting well with you?

Yep. Oh yep. It depends on the person.

Personally, l can feel the blood capillaries spasming in order to release the blood from the uterus. This is usually bad cramping for me..

My best friend however, would get so naseous & cramped that she'd end up spending days in bed.. And two days of being bedridden in the fetal position every month is nothing to brag about.

We both actually found relief on birth control pills. They decrease ur flow & u have the option of skipping it. My godsend & hers have been Seasonele where we only get our period every three months.. l know birth control is not an option for everyone but just have ibuprofen on hand. l wish l could be more positive but sadly it is just biologically part of getting our periods

you should go see a doctor and also maybe u should drink something like Gatorade it hydrates u and l think has sugar the nausea may be from loss of blood and not enough intake.

Yes, l experience some nausea around the time my period is due. Actually l think l might be pregnant until my period starts! :)

l know how u feel. My family has a history of horrible menstrual problems. & as the years go on the worse it gets for me but the only relief l have ever gotten is a combination of things. They put me on birth control which really helped because it helps regulate ur period helps u if u have problems with acne & can help ease alot of ur pain that & for cramps l use the heating packs & for the nausea l drink warm tea which helps me but that is gaurenteed to work for u but if things dont start getting better l woud suggest u go to the doctor & see if they can help u get on a high dosage birth control to maybe help u good luck

l used to throw up like every time l get my period. It was horrible. Now l do not even get cramps, its a little strange.
