Women are all so different. Some women adjust well to this shot and love it. Other women have persistant spotting and get very hormonal and hate it. It is effective, but you pretty much do not know if you will like it until you try it.

My niece had it implanted while she was in the Air Force and she gained so much weight that they discharged her and the Air Force was the ones that demanded she have this because she was going overseas. l think it is unfair to do that to women, but they did and l never saw her so fat. Hope that does not happen to you, It is the one that is implanted under the skin is not it?

Yuck. Depo is horrible to a woman is system. l was on it years ago and l gained a lot of weight and bled every single day. Do not do it. Try other options. l currently have the IUD and love it. But as with all birth control every woman is different. What might work for you will not work for the next. Good Luck~
