my left nipple feels fine, however my right nipple is in extreme pain. l have noticed it is constantly hard today. When l pinch it, it feels like there is hard lump right inthe nipple area and my other nipple does not have that.
What could it be? I am not pregnant or anything. Its just the nipple, not my whole boob.
l cannot sleep due to the pain... it hurts badly. This has never happend to me.

It sounds like a hormone reaction, maybe to a medication you took or an odd food you ate, an imbalance, there are many possiblities to what it could be. Keep an eye on it, if it gets worse, see a doctor

Mastitis - a breast infection - you do not have to be breast-feeding to get them, unfortunately.
you might google mastitis - most of the time, you will need to see a doc and get antibiotics, but in the meantime, you may want to apply warm compresses or take a warm bath -
Ibuprofen is a good help for the pain (but if you need something stronger, ask for it..)
